United Nations Champion (2009)
Kapphan won the United Nations Championship for the first time in 2009, He defended the United Nations Championship against Nick Kessler, Kapphan retained the United Nations Championship by defeated Kessler at the 2009 New Year's Evil pay-per-view. He would not defend the title again til Chamber of Hell 2009 where he defeated Zack Nuss and Matt Hooper in a Triple threat match to once again retain the United Nations Championship. He would defend the United Nations Championship against Matt Hooper on an episode of Dynasty in a one on one match where Hooper would defeat Kessler by disqualification but with the DQ, Kessler still kept the title. At Wrestlemania, Zack Nuss would get his one on one match with Kessler, Kessler would retain the United Nations Championship after Matt Hooper interfered and hit Nuss with the U.N. Championship to cause the victory. At the 2009 Throw the Rules Out pay-per-view, Kessler lost the United Nations Championship to Nick Kessler in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match.
Various feuds and (2009)
After losing the United Nations Championship Kapphan started a small feud with Matt Borske the two would battle at the 2009 No Limits pay-per-view, where Borske would go on to defeat Kessler. Kessler then would go on to feud with Will Hughes until Deuces 4-Wilde where Hughes would go onto defeat Kapphan in a regular singles match-up. Kapphan's losing streak stopped at Bank on the Money where he won the Turbo's Bank on the Money ladder match.
Mr. Bank on the Money (2009)
Kapphan won Turbo's Bank on the Money ladder match at the 2009 Bank on the Money. He cashed in at the 2009 Night of Championship pay-per-view.
IWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion (2009)
Kapphan defeated IWE Champion Kevin McAlmond to win the IWE Championship from him after he had already defeated Matt Hooper in a Hardcore match to retain the IWE Championship. However, Kapphan would loss the IWE Championship in a Championship rematch the next two days after Night of Championships, to loss the IWE Championship. He would get his rematch against Kevin McAlmond at the Turbo event but would loss to Kevin McAlmond. Kapphan would be moved to the other brand where he won a Battle Royal match to become the new World Champion for it's brand. At the 2009 Soul Survivor Kapphan fought in two matches, at the beginning of the night he defeated Matt Garr and at the end of the night he used the World Championship to hit Matt Hooper with it and cause a disqualification, But Matt Hooper was unsuccessful to become the World Champion. At the 2009 Extreme Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view Kapphan was defeated by Martin McAlmond in a Extreme Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Will Kapphan got one more shot at the IWE Championship against Kevin McAlmond in a Extreme Rules match at New Year's Evil but was unsuccessful in doing so. Will Kapphan then was announced as one of the six participates in the Chamber of Hell match for the World Heavyweight Championship and again was unsuccessful in becoming World Champion again, He was eliminated 4th in the match when Martin McAlmond pinned him after a chokeslam.

Kapphan started a small feud with Zack Nuss, and at No Limits, Nuss would defeat Kapphan by count-out when The World Elite debut for the first time, helping Kapphan to the back.
