| | Welcome to Ithaeric, a world of great potential.  Written as a homebrew world for the game [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_and_Dragons Dungeons and Dragons], the realm of Ithaeric is a world in which every type of character can shine.  Within Ithaeric, players may travel as wandering adventurers, carve out a portion of land to themselves, become a feared assassin or bounty hunter, an infinitely strong soldier, a mage of great power and much more.  Teetering in the balance is the underlying conflict in which the last vestiges of an organized empire fight chaos at the far reaches of its borders.  The One prophesied to re-incarnate shall return and tell the tale, for the One will control Ithaeric, and shape it as it will be in the next age of the world.  Will you be the One?  Time shall tell the tale.
