Santa Leon , or Nuestra Senora de Santa Leon is the capital city of Mesias and is the area's main economic center and largest port. It is also the largest city in San Pedro since that is the nation that has political control over the islands of Mesias. The city is often refered to as "The Bay of the Lion" The people of Santa Leon are known as "Santaños"

Castillo Viejo
Castillo Viejo is the old part of Santa Leon, named after the wall that fortified the city until it was destroyed by pirates. It is the oldest part of the city and one of the largest and well preserved colonial centers in Latin America. The old city is dominated by the Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Paz (Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace) and the Castillo Real.
