[edit] The Story

Champing was a monster born in 1892
He was a big green lizard, just like me and you
Champing came from mountains to Megatokyo
He made friends with Mikey, Ben and Billy Joe

When panic struck the city, and evil was all around
Champing took his smiting stick and smote those bastards down
The monks from Foreman Island said the wound would never heal
But only they knew his weakness was his breakfast cereal

(From Narration Station, Crosstown Junction)

Champing Hur is a gigantic lizard who defends the city of Megatokyo from a bunch of evil monks. The monks come up with a dastardly plot to get everyone out of the city and trick Champing into thinking the people of Megatopia hate him.<pr/>

The monks invoke a prophecy barbecue and invite all the people of Megatokyo to attend. They are reluctant to go at first but the offer of orange squash convinces them.

Everyone leaves the city, except Champing. Unknown to Champing, the monks sneak into his loftspace and put halluciogens in his Krunt Crunchy Breakfast Cereal. They also steal his favourite teatowel. Whilst Champing is tripping the monks tell him that everyone hates him and has left him, as a result Champing loses his mind.

The story ends with the people of Megatokyo having a great party on the island, wondering where Champing has gone...
