Thank you for choosing to bring your business to the CU advertising program and for helping our students learn real-life business skills in through a true business relationship. We are sending you this document to let you know the expectations of you as a client of the CU advertising program/agency.

We would like to stress that as a client we need you to come into this project, as you would with any Ad agency you are working with to improve your brand, with the intention and desire to use the student’s work to market your brand. We expect that both you and the students involved in the campaign treat this project as an important business relationship and to always be professional with each other.

The class will be broken up into three separate agencies who will be developing campaigns and competing for your business. Each group will be divided into separate fields and you will interact directly with each group through the Account Executives.

The minimum expectations for your interactions with the students are as follows: One presentation at the beginning of the project introducing your brand and discussing your expectations for the project as an advertising campaign, 1 scheduled hour per week to discuss the campaigns progress and answer/ask questions with the account executives, a mid-semester review with each group, and to evaluate each group and decide which one would win your account if they were real agencies competing for your business based on, (1) Interaction/ Communication (flexibility, adaptations and open to ideas), (2) professionalism, (3) Final Campaign product, and (4) work ethic/ effort.
