Three Innovative Agencies The three agencies I chose to research are Tribal DDB, TAXI, and Goodby Silverstein and Partners. I chose these three because I thought they did interesting work and I like their philosophies of being creative and flexible about what medias they use and how they use it, all while producing results for their clients. they produce results with their creativity rather than being creative but unproductive.

Innovative Company

In order for an organization of 25 people to be both innovative as well as productive, there needs to be some sort of internal organization which keeps everyone on track and keeps minds on the goal. My organization will have a somewhat traditional hierarchy in that as you move up in the organization, you will receive incentives such as more pay and more responsibilities. I believe that this ladder system is important because people feel more appreciated and therefore become more motivated to produce good work when they are rewarded for it.

In this system of hierarchy, everyone will enter in the same position with the same pay and as they are able to produce new and useful ideas they will move up the pay ladder and if they start to lag on the production of ideas, they can be subject to move down in pay and responsibilities. This is to make sure every employee is always doing there best at maintaining an atmosphere of creativity and innovation. There will also be added bonuses such as paid vacations for groups that come up with successful ideas together.

In order to make sure there is a ton of communication between the employees, everyone will receive and iPhone or some kind of smartphone so that they can constantly be in contact and throwing around ideas and improving on their ideas. Another way to do this is there will be a kind of social networking website that is used only by the 25 employees so that they can post ideas and stay in touch as well as just being able to get to know all about their co workers. This will make it so they know where each other is coming from and it gives everyone a feeling that their work and the people in it are a part of there all around life, not just work people.

The actual physical place we work will be very colorful and have many very open spaces so people feel like they can breath and aren't trapped there. There will also be a few little pods all around the office that people can sit inside and be comfortable and feel like they are away from all the hussle and bussle of the work area. Employees can use this space to either sit and think about ideas for work, or just to clear their minds in order to get back to work.

The organization will be a fun and stress-free place where work still get done and done well. The idea is that we take our work seriously, but not ourselves. This will show that the people who work here do good work and care about their work but are still fun and sociable people. Because of this we will attract potential clients with our good work and personalities but they wont be scared away by thinking we don't take their business seriously.

Innovative Company and Blogs

The innovative company that I'm interested in studying is #29 on the list, Nike. The reason I'm choosing Nike is that it is a company that I've always liked and thought of as very innovative in the athletic industry, and now after doing a little more research I've found that they are extremely innovative not just in developing new athletic performance products, but in every single aspect of the company from their state of the art campus to their product improvement research and even in their on-line activities and advertising. http://www.nikebiz.com/

Innovation at DIA

I don't know if you all have seen this but DIA is doing a really cool thing that could help with the security lines as well as tie in some Colorado tourist themes to the airport to make it more enjoyable. I think It's a really good idea to separate the lines and I really like that they follow the same idea that they use to separate ski slopes. Check it out:
