My Manifesto Comments

The bold numbers are my choices for top five pieces of our manifesto. The rest are ideas that I think are beneficial to our manifesto but not the MOST realistic or effective. While the entire list was good, I think that a lot of the other ideas were either repetitive or obvious..laughing, learning, and listening are all things that we should do no matter what--our manifesto should be the main ten things that we live by completely and then everything else can be encouraged in our actions.

1. Principles, not rules.

3. Defer judgement.

5. Be visual

6. Go for quantity

8. Follow the idea, not the leader.

12. Practice the Culture

14. Identify opportunities for growth--embrace change and just let it be

15. Establish focus and generate a purpose for each idea

16. Initiate conversation in creative ways (writing, speech, conversation, physical activities... anything that spurs thought, somewhat like #5)

17. Suspend disbelief

20. Don't only start projects, but strive to finish them.

23. Don't hesitate to make a suggestion no matter how crazy it may be (don't self censor)

24. Be a leader as well as a listener

26. Establish a focus and define your goals (like #15)

27. Don't say "no"

34. Immerse yourself in the culture you are studying - "Go to the Jungle"

35. Go beyond the obvious.

36. Motivate instead of just encouraging.

Agencies of the Future

While looking up innovative agencies I stumbled upon Atlas Solutions which I think would be really interesting to look up. They are a company that excels in execution "so that we have more time to work on the concepting." The website is Atlas Solutions
