Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam

Banda Aceh�s Grand Mosque was built around the 12th century. The mosque was burnt down at the beginning of the Aceh War and was later rebuilt taking its present shape after a number of renovations and expansions. At night, the huge white structure and its black domes are illuminated.
