Senior Program Officer � Borneo & Sumatra: World Wildlife Fund

-- World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a Senior Program Officer for the Borneo & Sumatra Program. Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the person will provide technical assistance for place-based conservation programs across the two islands. Candidate will lead the coordination of a cross-cutting team with senior staff from the Markets, Policy, Global Support, Strategy and Science, and Resources programs. Responsible for the management of WWF-US investments in Borneo & Sumatra, work closely with offices in Indonesia and Malaysia, and maintain relationships with other WWF Network offices and external partners.

-- The ideal candidate will build WWF�s profile and investments in support of priority initiatives, fundraise from U.S. donors for the resources needed to implement field programs and ensures access to specialized technical assistance and partnerships for effective and efficient implementation.

-- A graduate degree in a relevant field is required. Position requires a minimum of five years of work experience in conservation, natural resource management or international development Experience in Indonesia, Malaysia or Southeast Asia desired. Combination of nonprofit and private sector experience is desirable. 30% travel to Southeast Asia required. Regional language proficiency a plus.
