Targeted Fields Health Sciences. Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Engineering. School of Nursing. School of Theater, Film, & TV. Agriculture and Home Economics, Liberal Arts, and Veterinary Medicine.

Open To Students Working on Doctoral Dissertation.

Citizenship No citizenship requirements.

Eligibility Requirements Applicant must be nearing completion of their doctoral degree and preparing for careers in higher education.

Stipend Stipend of $3,000 plus University housing provided.

Deadline 4/15/2010

Program Description Approximately 7 fellowships offered to provide doctoral students with the opportunity to work closely with faculty members. Fellows will work on completing their dissertations, engage in seminars, and design individualized programs for enhancing their ability to teach, conduct research, and other scholarship. Award supports 6 weeks of research during the summer.
