History
Anja Anastasiya (Ahn-ja, Ahna-Staz-Ee-Ah) was a darling, sweet little pureblood lovechild, and that’s what it all comes down to. Her father, Nikolai Vosiliev, had fled Durmstrang (after graduating, of course) with all intentions of pouring his heart and soul into becoming a Healer. The almost always fatal run ins with the Death Eaters during his schooling could have easily swayed him into servitude with the Dark Lord, but his heart and passion for helping others finally brought the light through. Upon becoming an apprentice to a seasoned Healer at St. Mungo’s, he was constantly jostled and forced into working with another rising Healer, by the name of Feodora Raminov. Feodora was a gorgeous woman, that was for sure, but she was an altogether weak, fragile girl still in personality, which intrigued the frigid case that was Kolya. When his interest in her was found out, however, their loved blossomed instantly.
This was short lived, however, for after the birth of Anja, Feodora became unremarkably distant. The submissive, tiny woman would scowl at the sight of her daughter, whose eyes were the reflection of those same shocking, blue pools that belonged to her father. Kolya was almost always shunned, and Feodora would later be found stealing potions and stock healing items from St.Mungo’s. Only a few months after Anja’s third birthday, Feodora was condemned to life in Azkaban, as a Death Eater, for the unyielding evidence that the stolen items from the Healing Facility were used to nurse Voldemort’s fleeing supporters back to health.
Anja became invariably close to her father, and was relatively confused at the sudden loss of her mother. Before she truthfully died in her cell of illness (the woman had always been sickly, which was odd, due to the fact she was a Healer), Feodora had already been titled as such in Anja’s heart, for not days after had she been arrested, did Kolya feed these fabricated, but less disturbing ideas to his child.
At the age of eleven, Anja went off to attend Hogwarts, like any other young witch, or wizard. However, with her father well-nigh glued to his demanding job at St.Mungo’s , Anja has been able to nurture a new personality for herself, a real one, not hindered by her childhood, though it’s not safe to say whether it will be any better--- as she is a Slytherin, and is rather intrigued by their wiliness.
Personality
Anja is a collection of biting remarks, stunning cracks and cold shoulders. And this is probably not unusual, since she is a Slytherin. This is a warning sign for her father, however, who has over the years, constantly tried to pry himself from work to spend more time with his daughter…in order to keep her from the path Feodora took. He can’t be her father at school, and he simply cannot push himself into her life, so her budding personality has been cradled and securely cared for under the other purebloods of Salazar Slytherin’s House. She is young, but with former experience of her intellectual equalities of her parents, Anja has grown to know a lot prior to attending Hogwarts--- thus, she is usually the prime source of some rather nasty comments to other houses.
But even among the other Slytherin’s, Anja is a social enigma. She is not an attention whore like most, and nor is she the top of her class in popularity; but she only really opens up to those she finds respectable, and not distastefully slow. It is bizarre for such a young woman to have such a distinct view on this, and for her to wish to be around the more humble, but powerful personalities of the Slytherin House and not the simply jeering, sneering ones…is a big step for a teen, indeed. However, she has succeeded in this.

- THE XY:
There is not a single powerful bone in Anja’s tiny little wire of a body, but there are very sharp, very distinct features that have been passed down to her from her handsome brute of a father. An angular, precise sculpture of a face lays underneath the course, jagged layers of rich, chocolate-colored hair, and those haunting, spectacular blue eyes flecked with gold and yellow are kissed with a feminine touch under fluttering, thin eyelashes. Of course, it would be utterly ridiculous if she had a spot of facial hair, but the skin stretched over her bones is pale, flushed around the curves with a rosy tint, quite like her father’s before it was hardened under strenuous work and worry. The way she holds herself simply reads “Kolya” all over--- with a callous, but poised posture, and a swinging, determined gait.
- THE XX:
She is a mixture of both the softest, natural beauties and the dullest, coldest indications, but those pretty features she has are most likely drawn from her wisp of a mother, Feodora. Just like her mother, Anja can oftentimes become really ill, but is always sent many different potions and the like in owl-wobbling bundles from her father; she still can obtain a very yellowy pallor to that snow white skin, and her gorgeous round eyes oftentimes may seem to be under a lot of stress, giving the girl an almost pained look. Her bodily structure is a taut, almost pointy collection of visible bones and sharp curves, outlined by the puff of her soft pink cheeks and the smooth, hardly noticeable muscular tissues in her calves and arms. A subtle, brown dot of a birth mark lays askew in the corner of her right cheek, only a few inches away from her heart-shaped lips.
Facts and Unknown Secrets
- Anja suffers from Hemophilia, a hereditary disease passed down to her by her mother, Feodora. Almost every week she gets nose bleeds, or coughs of pools of blood. This also leaves her already fragile frame, very weak--but her father sends her potions, which she drinks to cure herself. Usually.
- Although she may seem exceedingly close to hatred when it comes to her father, in a confession to her close friend and crush, Vincent LeBlanc (a young vampire within her house) Anja has revealed that the only reason she tends to stray away from Nikolai is because she "'wishes to have a real father, rather than a Healer.'" She understands he cannot be there all the time due to his strenuous work, but his absence really has changed her.
