History
Birth
Bailey was, as most lamias are, born a feral lamia to another feral lamia who had slept with a human man and then drained him of his blood. Upon giving birth, Bailey was raised until she was old enough to fend for herself (probably around three years old) and quickly forgot her mother. Feral lamias have no emotional attachment or sense of human emotion, so she did not feel that she was abandoned at the time. Because she was born feral, she can only guess at how old she is. Her real birthday is listed above, but she does not know this exact date.
Life as a Feral Lamia
As I said before, feral lamias have no attachment to people or things of any kind, so Bailey wasn't particularly merciful as a lamia huntress. When she was little she mostly scavenged for small things, like birds and rodents that could sustain her. As she grew older, she started to prey on humans. She started with children who were younger than her and as she grew took on more challenging and larger prey. She primarily took from one area which was by the forest where she lived, which was her biggest mistake which eventually led to her capture.
Capture and Release
A grieving family who had lost a small child and an older son to the "Western Lamia" as Bailey was known as appealed to the local law enforcements to make an effort to catch her. Instead of doing it themselves though, the town hired an outside professional to catch and dispose of her. The professional knew of lamias and their allergy to the sun, so when he caught her at night, he chained her and nailed her to a rock facing the noon sun which would slowly burn her to death.
Professor Logan Oemul had been tipped off that a feral lamia was being left to die. Having a soft spot for magical creatures, he asked Professor Nesrin Berkant to help accompany him to Greece in an attempt to save her. What they found horrified them. Bailey was much younger than they had anticipated, and her hands had been nailed to the rock to keep her from escaping. They immediately set her free, therefore changing her into a domesticated lamia, and allowing Bailey to experience human emotion. They gave her a name, and took her back to Hogwarts where she lives with Professor Oemul in his shack.
Secrets
The Illegitimate Daughter
The strange appearance of Bailey on the school grounds was bound to catch more than one student's attention. Luckily, Bailey has an excuse all thought out. She tells people that she is Professor Oemul's illegitimate daughter from a one night stand in Greece. Her mother passed away recently and therefore she was dumped on Logan. Of course, there are some people who are skeptical over this story, but most people accept it due to the fact that it's just so juicy as far as rumors go.
The Human
Lamias cannot marry (by legend) anyone who knows that they are a lamia, or they will die of anguish. For this reason, Professor Oemul and those who know Bailey for what she truly is are not telling anyone that she is a lamia. Everyone assumes she is a human.
The Squib
Of Course, there has to be a reason why Bailey never attended Hogwarts or any other sort of wizarding school. The reason she came up with, is that she is a squib. In reality, she plans on someday releasing the fact that she is a lamia, and knows that it is illegal for them to carry wands. Of course, this doesn't stop her from playing with other people's every once in a while.

Site-Wide
Bailey has yet to be involved in a site-wide plot, but as she seems to hang around with characters that are frequently involved in them, she's bound to be at some point.
Personal
Bailey's capture thread and what occurs after that, with Professor Logan Oemul sets their relationship up. We also learn a lot about Bailey's past and a little bit of Logan's as well.
Another thread with Owen shows Bailey's fascination with humans... and Owen in particular. Also, she reveals that she has a certain understanding of magical creatures and their ways when she converses with centaurs. It becomes apparent that the way she thinks and the way most humans think is drastically different. Baiely also shows off her quick learning skills when it comes to instruments, as well as the magic that music brings to any situation.
