History
Meng Sen Xian (Men-g, Zen, Ja-ahn) was a true creation of darkness, a sinister, black-silked wreathed little shadow, nurtured in the tender, dark marked arms of her mother, Xiu. Her feeble father, who will remain nameless as even the name in print would make her wish to tear out her hair in rage,… was simply put, a squashed, shaking bug on the heel of her beautiful mother’s sharp stiletto. Xiu was a faithful Death Eater, even once serving her time in Azkaban while pregnant with her child whom she knew would grow to be a loyal and as willing to eradicate the earth of all mixed blood.
She was certainly right. As Meng became a toddler, she would seclude herself from other children around their home, always following her mother as though she were some sort of reverential Queen; Meng was in awe of the grace and determination that hung around her mother’s body like a cape, and as a little girl she was always trying to get under it, trying to steal some of that glory for herself.
….Then Queen Xiu died, and all those highly praised stories of Voldemort and her own mother’s love for pureblood rule became locked away, like a Pandora’s Box, forever forgotten as she was adopted by a British family, and, a few months after her eleventh birthday, sent off to Hogwarts.
Hogwarts, a History
Innocence
She was sorted in to Ravenclaw (of course), and was a brainchild of sorts, due to the lessons her mother had drilled into her a few years prior to attending. The professors could easily see through her meek exterior to the untapped potential within, but its certain now that all of them mistook this power for the darkness that truly was locked inside the girl.
Meng was very self-aware, but very social with her fellow Ravenclaws even if through her 'innocence' she was still moved to befriend Slytherins. She was attracted to them, in many different ways, mostly by their imposing natures and altogether physical distinctions. They were all purebloods, after all, as she was. She was not too discriminatory, however, and did have a few close acquaintances with Gryffindors and Hufflepuff.
Darkness
The stench of death and powerful curses filled the air, on the once relatively quiet plot of land along the streets of Hogsmeade. All students were commanded to flee to the train, Aurors were gathering them up and eagerly shooing them into the opposite direction; Meng, jostled by the arms of frightened schoolmates, had an image of the scene in her head all the while. There were four of them. Four Death Eaters, blasting their curses with such elegance that they seemed as though they were conducting an orchestra, the music the swelling screams of Aurors fighting them permeated through the smoke. Meng was wrenched from the twisted picture when she was violently shoved into one of the train compartments, where a group of half bloods were sitting, jabbering, pressed against the window. They were saying cruel things…commenting on how ruthless the Death Eaters were, how ugly, how vain, how stupid…how stupid they were, to follow a man that would never even show himself to the Magical World…
These words were the key that unlocked the insanity. And, most of all…the intense love for her mother, who was neither ugly, vain or stupid, and most certainly did not follow a weak superior. It all happened like a lighting flash, the sudden change, but now that the chaos was released, she would never go back.

What a revelation, what magic makeup can do on a person‘s face. Meng is nothing close to hideous, but masked behind her Asian doll baby face is a pale, blank canvas, with narrow eyes, with hardly any eyelashes covering her murky brown pools. But alas, her plush, heart-shaped lips are oftentimes painted in a glossy, crimson sheen, and thick fake curtains coil over her eyes that now seem to flash with vindictive delight. She only wears this war paint to daub up her unassuming façade, wishing only to make a mark on men and women alike that chance her by. One item unhindered by her pretty pastels and dark rouges is her hair; an unmoving, thin sheet of raven-colored hair spills over her shoulders, enshrouding the pale, oval-shaped face perched on a long, and slender neck.
Her slight, feeble figure is made up for in the powerful spouts of magic and knowledge she contains within such a gentle willow of a body, and when it’s not veiled under thick, rustling cloaks or covered by a Death Eater’s mask, Meng tends to draw attention with provocative, but none too flashy clothing. She likes to be respected, and anyone claiming to see her as an evil ‘slut’ of some sort is not only exceedingly wrong, but is bound to have a nasty encounter with her hexes sometime soon. Under her robes are normally tight, pale-colored dresses than skim down to her thighs, or perhaps an attractive business suit accented with a tilted fedora.
Personality
Unlike the usual “hard-shelled on the outside, softy on the inside” facades of people, and Death Eaters in particular, Meng has promptly and proudly revealed as the exact opposite, usually upon first meeting someone. Gentle smiles and polite gestures are all fine and dandy, sure, but what Meng likes best is simply getting down to the nitty gritty-- the part where she gets to Levi corpus a few mud bloods and dangle all the ‘shinies’ out of their pockets. Ah, yes…‘shinies‘. Her accomplices know that whenever Meng is on the prowl, not only does she like to hex and sometimes even physically torture victims, she pilfers are their stuff as well. No one really seems to get in her way during this, as if they did, they’d have her malicious, highly vindictive and volatile nature to deal with. And besides…the girl’s got one nasty wand-arm.
Due to somewhat of a sheltered upbringing, Meng has grown into some very odd fondness for things. Like…Sadism. I couldn’t possibly tell you how the hell being a secluded little Chinese girl could turn you into a carnal maniac, but it has in this rare circumstance. Meng finds the utmost delight in being faithful to her Dark Lord, almost too affectionately attached to him, some may say. In the way that they both revel is seeing pools of blood around the feet of muggles, and cold stiff appendages severed from their flailing, screaming bodies. A mysterious, childish giggle ebbs from her pretty little mouth every time she gets to join in on this quirk of the job she’s so dedicated to, sending eerie vibes and tremors of chills down the spines of Death Eaters close by. Yes yes--- even they think she’s a little wacko.
But perhaps the insanity is all an act? After all, Insane people have a tendency to be the most philosophical, the most intelligent individuals, and Meng is no exception to this suggestion. Her years in Hogwarts, her classes, they were all joy rides, as she became the pride and joy of many professors, their little Meng always jutting her skinny hands in the air to answer questions, and catching on faster than most students. There were no traces of bloodlust, or maniacal Death Eater dreams as far as they could see-- but surely, only days after she graduated she was lost, the Hogwarts yearbook dappled once with her smiling little square picture turned to her proud, passionate glint as she stood on the front page of the Daily Prophet, the core of another attack on mixed magic blood.
