Overview
On Inspirational Music Wiki (IMW), all content must be related to either an artist (singer), album, instrument, or song that falls inside the borders of the musical genre "inspirational." If any article or image fails to meet this requirement, it may be deleted by an administrator.
Official Definition
If you were to look on the English version of Wikipedia for the musical genre "inspirational," you surprisingly wouldn't find it. That's because many types of music can be considered inspirational. The basic definition for inspirational music on this site is simply any style that uplifts and/or relaxes a person's spirit and attitude. Although the majority of inspirational artists and styles are of a Christian theme, this short description qualifies many other artists, styles, and songs. A few examples would be:
- Enya
- Tom Petty's song Free Fallin'
- George Winston
- The Taliesin Orchestra
Determining Controversial Articles
When and if the IMW community grows to a suffient size, all decisions regarding the qualifications of a controversial article will be made by the community in a discussion. However, since we're in the early stages of IMW, administrators will determine an article's worthiness.
- If you think an article should not be in IMW, list it on requests for administrator attention.
