I'm often asked what's the best location on Maui? That's like asking who is sexier, Jessica Alba or Jessica Simpson! The solution is, it's all a matter of individual style.

Personally, the best Maui hotel is Papakea Resort in Honokowai. Papakea Resort has three lighted tennis courts, two 18-hole placing greens and two sea front shuffleboard courts. There are also two swimming pools, each with plane massage and sauna.

Papakea Resort has 13 acres of exotic tropical gardening, beautifully manicured lawns, quiet lagoons with Koi fish and foot-bridges. There are coconut palms spread round the resort and you will see magnificent sunsets over the beautiful islands of Lanai and Molokai.

Papakea Resort is located near world class shopping, championship golf courses and wonderful dining places. So that you are a very short drive from Kapalua and Napili Bays to the North and historical Lahaina community south It is very nicely located. The largest supermarket on the island is a few blocks away to help you replenish on food to prepare in your residence.

Papakea Resort has 11 structures that house 2, 1 and 3 bedroom apartments. All the buildings have been situated to provide you with good views of various types. A few of the condos are found so that they have ocean top views. These condos are about 30 feet from the sea. A lot of the condos have at the least an view that appears out towards the beautiful Pacific ocean. A number of the condos are garden view condos and, believe me, these are not poor views at all. The gardens are positively wonderful and it is a really comforting view.

Papakea Resort has apartments in varying quantities of preservation. A number of them are managed better than others but that's the way it is at any Maui location. In the event that you remain in a privately-owned condo I will say this, though...you won't have a poor experience. All the condos we've use of at Papakea Resort are top-of-the-line Maui condos and they're preserved very nicely! Just stick with privately-owned apartments on Maui and you should have an excellent experience!
