Jormund Gobi

Jormund Gobi is a member of the former Shiekahn elementals tribe, where he was a leader. He is an exceptionally powerful being and the main antagonist in Kasei's storyline, as he is the man's grandfather.

[edit] Before Darkness.
Only fragments of Jormund's past before Kasei knew him is known. He was the head of the elementals' village, and therefore it's guardian, and most likely it's founder, as seen when he is shown as a child traveling in a convoy. He had an unknown wife, and a child, who also married. All three are assumed to have died before Kasei was at the age of 5. It is unknown when he made his scythe.

After Kasei had been given the right to create a scythe, Jormund apparently was acting suspiciously. Two members of the village were found dead in the sands of Tantari, the marks on their skin greatly resembling those made by a scythe, though Jormund was not an initial suspect.
That changed, however, when three men of the Hitsugi clan found Jormund inside the deep tunnels of Tantari Rock, performing odd rituals with the remains of slain Hylians. They fled to the village, and confronted him when he returned, along with most village men. Jormund denied all the accusations, but gave up the charade quickly, attacking the villagers, and then fleeing.

He did not appear for almost four years, when Kasei was twenty one. Using powers gained from service to The Dark, Jormund transformed into a monstrous giant hound, and attacked the village, laying waste to it's inhabitants. He is defeated, temporarily, by Kasei, his grandson, when he takes up his scythe and strikes down his grandfather. Jormund collapsed into the ocean of sand, and disappeared.

For many years after his disappearance, Gobi's precise actions were unknown. The few things that are known about his actions in the last hundred years is that he was a general in Ganon's army. The betrayal of Zaboorak greatly angered him. After Ganon's fall, Jormund was one of the founding members of the Dark Army, as he is one of, if not the most, powerful leaders there. He apparently rarely attends meetings, saying that they bore him. Jormund himself apparently sends illusions and telepathic messages to relay information.
[edit] Powers and Skills
Jormund Gobi is about 10' tall, and is well-built. He carries a deadly scythe in battle.
Jormund's true arrange of powers is currently unknown. However, he is easily one of the most terrifying enemies known currently; he managed to kill Xanatos in one blow, whereas Sovelis, another man considered extremely powerful, had to flee from Xanatos in a previous battle. Jormund is known to have control over all the elements, and Kasei describes him as "the very soul of chaos itself", implying that Jormund has even scarier abilities.
As a Gobi, Jormund can concentrate power to his eye and destroy anything he targets. Also, being the current leader of the tribe, Gobi possesses the ability to transform into a giant hound.
