In Hyrule, there is obviously a lot of armor. However, there is also armor that has been bewitched with some spell or another to become hostile. We call this Enchanted Armour. It is somewhat different, however, from an Armos, although they are somewhat similar.

An Enchanted Armour.

[edit] Appearance

As the name suggests, Enchanted Armour is simply a suit of armor that moves as if it were filled with a body. There have been several cases where something like this has been reported--However, since there are many different kinds of armor, it is hard to settle on one general appearance. Expect it to be a full set--complete with chest plate, helmet, leggings, shoulder pads, and gauntlets. They will usually wield a weapon of sorts, like a sword or mace, as well as a shield. They can be quite hard to defeat, being made of armor.

[edit] Intelligence

Seeing as how it is nothing but armor, Enchanted Armour normally lacks a brain and is completely bent on destroying its enemy, being incredibly hostile. However, it has a shield for a reason, and it appears that within the armor rests the soul of a real soldier, and the armor reacts accordingly, meaning it can put up a fight.

There have been occasional reports of Armour that exerts a much better tactical sense in the midst of battle, the most prevalent of this case being found with the legendary Hero's Shade. In these cases, the warrior's spirit is much more heavily tied to the armor. Often it has been found that, given the opportunity, an Armour of this intelligence level is actually more apt to be an ally to Hyrulians than an enemy.

[edit] Role

As Enchanted Armour can be tough to defeat, the less intelligent variety can be relied upon to cause problems for adventurers, and is used in small groups as a mini-boss of sorts at times. However, the fact that these armors can't talk or communicate is an obstacle that eliminates any chance at a powerful position.
