History
About 20 years after the founding of Hyrule, two Shiekahn families, Gobi and Hitsugi, came together in an alliance, and formed the tribe through a pact. For years, the members of the tribe expanded, until there was almost 140, enough for its own village. In the village, the Gobi family was seen as the protectors and leaders, while Hitsugi's were everyday citizens, although some Hitsugi were stronger than Gobi.
In recent years, members of the Gobi family dwindled, until only Gobi, Kasei and Aria remained. It was then that Gobi, an elder of the tribe, turned on it, and attacked the village with his power. The village was utterly destroyed, and few survived.
Powers
The members of the tribe, in addition to the abilities of a Sheikah, were given control over an element at birth. This allowed them to overwhelm powerful foes, though members rarely were trained enough to use this power effectively in combat, which was a factor in the tribes downfall. One ability that could be made with this elemental power was an elemental eruption, which required the member to hold open their right eye for a certain amount of time - the longer, the stronger - and concentrate their magical power on an opponent. When released, an explosion consisting of their element hit the target.
Even though fire was a popular element, the most powerful was darkness, which only a few members were gifted with. Its power is disastrous.
Customs
The only recorded custom in the tribe was simply a modified version of normal Sheikah tradition. When a member of the tribe is deemed old enough, they wear a gold earing, and craft themselves a scythe embedded with their element. The scythe could be summoned to them at will. Kasei is not seen using a scythe.
