- | ==Family History==
| + | |
- | The Buendia were the family that actually founded the village of Macondo, along with those other several families that accompanied them and gypsies that came to Macondo every year lead by Melquíades, who became a close family friend. After several years and few generations later, a civil war broke out in the country, and Macondo sent Aureliano Buendia with a militia. He became quite infamous, often referred to as Colonel Aureliano Buendia.

- | During the war, Colonel Aureliano Buendia had many one night stands with many woman because traditionally, young women were sent to sleep with soldiers. He had seventeen children from seventeen different women all baptized as Aureliano with the surname of their mothers. Many years later Colonel Aureliano Buendia signed a peace treaty that ended the war.

- | When the seventeen Aureliano's were grown, all but one were killed by a nameless assassin as a way to get back as Colonel Aureliano Buendia. The one who survived was Aureliano Amador, and he escaped into the jungle.

- | After long hard years, only four Buendias were left: Aureliano Amador, José Arcadio II, Amaranta Úrsula, and Aureliano Babilonia. José Arcadio II and Aureliano Babilonia were living together when Aureliano Amador came back to the Buendia residence to check on the family. They did not believe Aureliano Amador was part of their family, despite his pleas, and they pushed him out of the house, where he was killed by the nameless assassin that killed the other sixteen Aurelianos.

- | José Arcadio II was also eventually killed by children who took his gold, leaving Aureliano Babylonia by himself, who had decided to study the parchments the gypsy Melquíades had left behind. Melquíades himself had been long gone, but he had left some parchments that were to be deciphered in one hundred years.

- | Aureliano Babilonia eventually gave up on the parchments when his aunt, Amaranta Úrsula, came back with her husband. They did not know they were related, so they had an affair, which caused Amaranta's husband to leave her. When Amaranta Úrsula dies giving childbirth and their baby is eaten by ants, Aureliano Babilonia deciphers the scrolls and finds out Melquíades knew the history of the Buendia before it had happened (the last line of the parchment being "The first of the line is tied to a tree and the last is being eaten by ants), and a giant storm swept Macondo out of existence.

- | ==Childhood==
| + | |
- | After deciding life in the jungle was not as great as he thought, Aureliano Amador came back to Macondo with his wife. Because he was sought after by the nameless assassin, he kept down low. One day, Aureliano Amador and his wife, Ana Amador had a young son they named Aureliano Buendia after the Colonel. He was born in Macondo, fifteen years before the leaf storm.

- | Overall, Aureliano had a decent childhood. His father was very kind, despite the fact that he stayed home because of the assassin after him. His mother was an excellent cook. His best friend was a mage called Melquíades XV, who was an extremely adept mage, despite his age of 17. On Aureliano's fourteenth birthday, however, his father Aureliano Amador went back to the Buendia residence to check on the surviving Buendias, only to get kicked out by them and killed by the nameless assassin on his way home. After a year, a tremendous leaf storm came and blew Macondo out of the map along with all its inhabitants.

- | Aureliano died, but his best friend, the young gypsy mage named Melquíades XV, revived him with a powerful spell that drained some of his own life force, and made him age three years. Melquíades XV told Aureliano their paths will cross again, and that the parchment that Melquíades I wrote (the one Aureliano Babilonia had deciphered that contained the Buendia history) was blown all the way to Hyrule, where Aureliano was assured a better life.

- | Aureliano was very grateful that Hyrule took him under its wing, so he became a Vassal in order to protect Hyrule and the Royal Family. He is intelligent, loyal, and humble: Characteristics he acquired in Macondo. Aureliano can be quite charming when he wants to be, so he uses (or tries to use it) to his advantage. He is roughly seventeen, and has dark brown eyes, black hair, a Spanish accent, and a bronze skin tone. He retains the rather elongated and pointed ears of an average Hylian, however.

- | Aureliano carries a wooden sword bought from [[Quartermaster Hithos]], and wears at tunic under his green shirt. He wears blue pants, unlike that [[Link, Hero of Time]] fellow. His hair is short and comfortable, so that it doesn't get in his way while fighting. He does not know where Melquíades' parchment is, but he is trying to get used to Hyrule and meet people before he tries to find it.
