Sheikah are, at best, a dark race, and are generally associated with shadows, even though the majority of them are loyal to the royal family.

Sheikah are the second-most common race in Hyrule, just behind Hylians. The reason being is that they have grown in number since the discovery of New Hyrule, and are now a daily sight, even though they were once believed extinct.

Sheikah are recognizable by their red eyes, and their ability to speak in Ancient Hylian.
