Lizalfos are foot soldiers of Ganon's army.
[edit] Appearance
Lizalfos are, in essence, bipedal lizards with joints resembling a human's frame instead of a common reptile's. They are green and scaly, and usually wear armor around their torso and nowhere else, although there are some that wear helmets. They are normally seen carrying a sword and shield, and sometimes use their tails to attack as well.
[edit] Intelligence
Lizalfos are crafty foes that will attack strategically when in a group. They engage in swordplay remarkably well, and dodge attacks with ease using their supple frame. However, they are incapable of the human languages, and because of this cannot gain a very powerful position in Ganon's army.
[edit] Role
They are often used as sentries, and fight both in groups and by themselves. There have been sightings of Lizalfos bands that govern among themselves and are often dangerous enemies, although they have never risen very high in Ganon's ranks.
