How:
Actually, you no longer need to register SLUDGE in order to make use of all it has to offer. You won't even get an irritating dialog box appear on your screen when your game starts up.
Why:
I have much less time to spend on SLUDGE these days thanks to my hefty day job and consequently it's been ages since I've updated SLUDGE (either the development kit or the engine). I only ever really intended the registration thing to enable some serious game creator types to get a premium service and loads of extra functionality; however, recently I haven't really been living up to my side of the deal. So I've taken the plunge and gone all freeware. Enjoy.
