Ration stamps are a counter to the popular Famine stamps. They are produced in the U.S. by the U.S. government as an alternative to Famine stamps. Ration stamps come in a variety of flavors, including freedom, roast liberal, and even crying commie. However, they are much more expensive than Famine stamps to create at 45 cents per ration stamp versus .5 cents per famine stamp.
