Review
I would totally give this movie a ten if it weren't for the ending and the fact that some of the people can't act for crap. But besides that, this has always been one of my favorite remakes. I loved the entire prom scene. It is seriously classic. The film is basically about a girl who is constantly made fun of. And while she is terrorized by her religious mother, she learns of a power that she has had since she was a little girl. She could move things with her mind. Meanwhile, a group of friends plot a prank on her. But after the prank is pulled, she pulls revenge like no other. It is amazing and I love every minute of this movie. The ending is the only thing that got on my nerves. Besides that, its a must see. Chelan Simmons and Katharine Isabelle did great jobs in this flick. Even though the new Carrie isn't as creepy as the old one, this still had a lot of potential and is highly recommended.
Gore
We get some off screen deaths. Electricutions and a basketball hoop slamming into a girls back. Not too much blood except for the prank.
Overall
This is a great adaption of Stephen King's novel. If you are a true Stephen King fan and you have actually read this book, then this is the movie for you!
