Review:
This is a must see movie. It is the start of most campy horror flicks. It's basically about a mysterious killer who begins to hack some teenagers at a camp years after a boy has drowned. The suspense and the tension is amazing. The blood and gore is a little fake and low budget but besides that, it is one of the best horror movies I have on my shelves. I am a little nervous about this remake that they're coming out with but I have completely devoted myself to the Friday the 13th series. This is the best movie out of the whole series in my opinion and I think that it would be great to watch it. Plus every one of the three (FT13th, ANOES, Halloween) horror slasher series has a rising star in it. This one stars Kevin Bacon.
Gore
There are some blood splatter. A girl gets axed in the face. A boy gets an arrow through his throat. Most gore fans would be happy, but not too pleased in this catergory.
Overall
A must see horror film with laughs and suspense. The ending is really the best part of the entire movie. It is famous for its stalking type horror and its stars. If you only watch one movie in your lifetime, make sure its this one!
