Now, I'm not going to lie. When I first saw the preview to this film, I wanted to see it soo bad. I am a big fan of the original prom night. But as I watched this film, I realized that this was nothing like the original. As a matter of a fact, it was horrific, not because of the plot. They butchered it and made it into a monster. It's basically about a psychotic teacher who is obsessed with Brittany Snow's character. She soon witnesses him slaughter her family before the police capute him. Years later, he escapes and shows up at her prom (because he knew she was going to be there, like they gave him school letters in prison) and kills her friends before coming after her. There was so many things wrong with this film. I didn't know that when you stab someone, only air comes out and a small circle of blood around the wound because that seems to be it. Instead of at least hiding or covering up his face, they let the audience see him the entire time, so that kills the suspense and mystery. It was also very predictable. The most predictable thing was the ''entire movie!!'' This movie sucks soo much. I couldn't even wipe my ass with this. The only reason I gave it a two was because Brittany Snow was in it and I happen to be a fan of hers. Besides that, this movie was total shit.
