HL2Land.net Roleplay Server Rules & Laws

Some of these rules may be outdated. These rules may change without notice.

Someone with VIP please update the VIP rules.

New Life Rule

• The New Life Rule is very simple. If you die you do not remember anything.
• You are a completely new person. DO NOT REVENGE KILL!
• Combine, you may not return to arrest the culprit that killed you.
• Unless you warranted him before you died, or someone else reports it.

General Rules

• Do not deathmatch. Anyone caught deathmatching will be either be time or permanently banned.
• Get an roleplay name. IE: "Johnathan Roberts".
• You may have a nick name in the middle of your name. IE: "Johnathan 'Shadow' Roberts".
• Do not use " around your nickname, use '.
• Do not disrespect server Administrators.
• Do not disrespect other players.
• Do not spam the chat window.
• Do not advertise other servers. This will get you permenantly banned.
• Do not use OOC for advertising.

Citizen Rules

• Do not punch everyone you see. This will get you kicked.
• You may not buy shops in the main plaza by the statue just to resell it.
• You may only do this to property away from the main plaza and the hotels in the main plaza.
• If you own the hotel, do not lock the front door and prevent everyone from using it.
• Listen to the City Administrator, all Combine, and most importantly, Admins.

Combine Rules

• Do not abuse your equipment, you will get banned.
• Do your job, or get demoted or possibly kicked/banned.
• Do not give away any of your equiptment.
• Do not own and run shops as a Combine, it is not your job.
• Do not stand guard in someone's shop, this is not your job.
• Do not bend rules because you are a CP.
• Do not warrant someone because you feel like it.
• Do not ram doors without a search warrant.
• To warrant someone you must have visual proof of a crime, only then may you arrest.
• To get a search warrant someone must tip you off in /cr or in local chat.
• OOC is not valid for a search warrant.
• Do not destroy people's shop equipment if it is not illegal.
• Do not shoot and kill someone unless you are being shot, guns should be the last resort.
• Listen to the CA, all higher ranks, and the Admins.

VIP Rules

• DO NOT ABUSE YOUR TOOLGUN!
• Do not duplicate weapons and spam them wildly, you can do it a couple times but thats it.
• If you do this you will either be taken off of the VIP list or loose it entirely.
• Do not use rope.
• Do not color EVERYTHING.
• Do not make people invisible with the color tool.
• Do not spam paint.
• Do not re-material everyone, or everything. Wireframe is not allowed on anything.
• Do not spam anything.
• Do not think you can bend the rules, you are not an administrator.
• Listen to all Combine and Admin orders.
• Just because you have a toolgun does not mean you have power over anyone else.
