Rosary Program

We've decided to not focus on its history, but more on its significance of meditating the Rosary prayers.

2. Catherine is going to start out by telling the story of Medjugorje. (~10 mins.)

This is a miracle that occurred in a town called Medjugorje in Yugoslavia. Mary appears to 6 ordinary children with the mission of Peace and Love. Through these children her messages are told to the world. She has come to earth to reeducate us and to help us convert and recenter our lives back to God. Our Lady's role has always been one of guiding people to Her Son, Jesus.

Our Lady is also giving us 5 Stones or Weapons we can use to defeat satan. They are:

  • Daily Prayer (Of the Rosary)
  • Fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Daily Reading of the Bible
  • Monthly Confession
  • Holy Communion

Our Lady says to these children:

"Today also I am calling you to prayer. You know, dear children, that God grants special graces in
prayer... I call you, dear children, to prayer with the heart." (April 25, 1987)

September 6, 1984

"Dear children! Without prayer there is no peace.
Therefore I say to you, dear children, pray at the foot of the cross
for peace. Thank you for having responded to my call."

To pray with the heart is to pray with love, trust, abandonment, and concentration. Prayer heals human souls. Prayer heals the history of sin. Without prayer, we cannot have an experience of God.

"Without unceasing prayer, you cannot experience the beauty and greatness of the grace which God is
    offering you." (February 25, 1989)

3. Catherine's testimony (~20 mins)

4. Small group meditation

Groups will split and find a spot of their choice to go a meditate. They will sit in a circle with the counselors included. Counselors ask if anyone would like a special request that we can pray about. As a group we meditate on the Rosary (1 decade) while concentrating on what they want to pray about.
