Guard

Guard your hearts and faith

Location: Pool

Objective

Two teams set apart on opposite sides of the pool, one member of each team is blindfolded in the pool. The other teammate is outside giving directions (hot or cold) to the blindfolded teammate. Counselors will place two objects in the middle of the pool, the objective is the blindfolded teammate to grab their respective objects before the other team. Meanwhile, one member of each team will have water guns to squirt the other team’s object away from the blindfolded. Each round will be timed so that every member can be in the pool to alternate if the object cannot be reached in the time allotted.


Materials

  • Two strong waterguns
  • two medium sized foam balls
  • two bandanas


Peace

Lyrics and Manifest

Location: Basketball court behind Tabernacle

Objective

As two praise songs play one will be a song about peace while the other will be about another subject. Campers will have to manage to figure which song is about peace while play at the same time. One camper will be in the middle ready to write the lyrics while being guarded by his fellow campers as the counselors harass the campers with water, toilet paper, etc. The campers will sacrifice their bodies to prevent the paper from getting wet as well as assist the writer in helping writing the correct lyrics. At the end the paper must be legibly read by a counselor to complete the station.


Materials

  • Two cd players with batteries
  • Two praise songs
  • 2 Buckets
  • Water hose
  • 20 rolls of Toilet paper


Anxiety

Knowledge of Peace, Love and Gap

Location: Soccer Field

Objective

This station will be a relay game where there will be three parts. In between the three parts there will be twelve clues between each station. The clues will consist of bible verses, chapters, and books. The first part of the relay will consist of two campers spinning around disoriented then connect themselves with a rubber elastic band to their feet and running to the next station. They will then be able to choose from a variety of bible passages. Then they will run to the next station where a counselor will toss two eggs up in the air for them to break with their heads. They will continue to do this until two eggs are broken. Then they will be able to choose their next clue which is a variety of books of the bible. Then they will run to the last station where the counselor will toss one water balloon for them to bust with their chest or back, in doing so they will be able to choose their last clue which will be a list of chapters. They will then take these three clues back to their group and figure out if this passage connects. They will continue to do so till they find a correct passage.

  • 10 dozen eggs

Understanding

Following Jesus’ word

Location: Gladiator Field

Objective

For the blindfolded camper to be led by their teammate’s voice through a maze that has of pans a whip cream, mud, dirty water. As they are being led by their teammate counselor will try to trick them to follow their voice into the pans of sin. All campers will have to successfully go through this maze, which will be set up differently by counselors each time. The maze will be made up of a mini orange cones.


Materials

  • 10 bottles of whip cream
  • 15 aluminum foil pans
  • Mini orange cones





Location: Basketball Courts

Everything

Everyday Leisure’s

Objective: One team experiences the mentos/diet coke experience. Each member will have a cup to catch the coke’s explosion. Then, they will gather all the collected coke in one big cup and line up with everyone holding one cup. The first camper will drink some of the coke and do a little sport’s course. As they hold the coke in their mouth, they will putt a golf ball into a man-made hole and then shoot a basket. Then, once that is completed they will pour out their coke from their mouths into the next camper’s cup and the next camper will do the same until it reaches the end of the marked cup. If they do not complete this task in a designated time and if the coke is not filled up in the last cup with a specific marking then the team will decide which courageous camper will drink the gargled coke.

Location: Gladiator Field

Thanksgiving

The Last Supper

Objective: One team is lined up at the top the hill. The first member log rolls (horizontal) down the hill with a banana clenched in between their feet. Once they reach the bottom of the hill they leave the banana behind and duck walk to the bread station. The last camper will have to eat the banana before they proceed to the next station. At the bread station, the member will eat 4-5 crackers. Then, he/she will move onto the meat station by army crawling and taking couple bites out of the 1 can of spam. After, the camper will gorilla walking to the water station, the team member must wait for the rest of the team to drink the water. The team must drink all of the water that they choose. The choices will be: water dyed purple, warm water, and water with sugar. It must be a group decision. A counselor will have to retrieve the banana from the bottom of the hill and throw it back up to the team to keep the game going. This game consists of the food eaten at the last supper such as fruit, meat, bread, and wine.

9 spam cans

9 gallon of tap water

9 bananas

Location: Front of Tabernacle

Prayer

Prayer Position

Objective: There will be 4 containers that consists of water, milk&cereal, dried rice, and pickle&juice. Each member of the team will bob their heads into the container of which they choose and have to bob for a special prayer move accordingly. They will get each piece out of the containers to make an ultimate prayer position. There will be different items in the container to confuse and disfigure the prayer position.
