Background
Guy grew up as Gailardia Galan Gardios, the heir to a wealthy family - or at least, he would have, had his family not been attacked on the night of his fifth birthday. His entire family had been there to celebrate his special day, and therefore his entire family had been slaughtered before his very eyes. Guy himself had been saved thanks to the sacrifice of his sister, Marybelle, who shielded the boy with her own body. Other women, such as maids, nannies, and so on also followed suit to protect him. Having passed out from fear sometime during these acts of sacrifice, Guy awoke covered in women's bodies and their blood, traumatizing him to the point of losing his memory of the incident involving the women. He was saved by Pere, one of his guardians, and taken away from his ruined home.
While some might be interested in who did the killing, Pere knew better. The Jewel of Gardios, a sword that had been passed down within the family for generations, had been taken on the night of the massacre as proof of the deed. The thieves had been hired and Pere was more interested in just who hired them. It was discovered to be the work of Crimson fon Fabre, who saw the Gardios family as a roadblock on his path to unprecedented wealth and power, something that had never appeared before him before. The Jewel of Gardios now sits as a trophy in the foyer of his home in Tokyo, something Guy and Pere, who took up positions as servants in the Fabre home in hopes of bringing the same tragedy to this home as well.
... one could say he's biding his time, others might say Guy's gotten soft. Sixteen years later and the secret heir to House Gardios has still not gone forth with his plan, having developed a soft spot for the sons of his most hated enemy. He remains unimpressed by the man to this day, however, and his plans still remain on the back burner.

Although he was only trying to help, Guy met with a L5 Subaru who presumably beat him to death with a lead pipe.

Walked in on Luke killing Asch with his sword and met the same fate only moments later.

This time it's just the opposite - while looking for Asch, he indeed finds him, but things don't exactly go as he thought they would.
