Laura Schlessinger (January 16, 1947) is an American cultural and moral commentator, most known as host of the very popular Dr. Laura radio advice call-in show. She is an outspoken critic of practices such as sex outside of marriage, daycare in lieu of mothers raising their own children, abortion, euthanasia and same-sex marriage. She has also written several books.
