The sub-carriers of the Lightning Wave faction were the Spark-Class carriers. The ships were the relays of the information from the dolls using the Storm Cloud Multi-point System. The need for these carriers was born out of the increasing numbers of the Lightning Wave, which soon outgrew the carrying and processing abilities of the Bolt. Each carrier could hold and support up to twenty dolls. Approximately 12 Sparks were produced by Gemini, and all were destroyed by the time of the invasion of Mars.
