The Gemini Era, first in the GWN roleplaying tradition.

Pre-Gemini Period

AC 256

• March 17 - A plague strikes the EEF's new Neptune Colonies are evacuated of most of the population and abandoned by EFF forces. The remaining people survive and keep independence.

• June 2 - Lightning mobile dolls assault and destroy a Martian science colony on Pluto.

• November 23 - Mars re-assumes control of the Plutonian installation, begining construction of a Warp Gate at the planet. Also slated in the project were a system of underground science installations on Venus.

AC 257

• March 4 - The EFF and MC begin massive re-development of mobile doll forces following the conflicts between the governments. Several Gundams appear to lead the forces as the EFF and Martian Confederation continue to clash.

• July 30 - The La Grange Pointe Council's failed Saturn colonies are abandoned after the colonists revolt against taxation. The withdrawl signifies a new era of Outer-System Colonies, who form treaties with each other. The Gemini Foundation also signs treaties with Saturn.

AC 258

• July 18 - Continued raids from the Lightning Mobile Doll waves shake businesses under the Governments. Calls in each Government are made for a massive re-armament.

• October 9 - New drug syndicates begin forming from the ashes of old Mafia and drug cartels in the Outer-System Colonies. The largest mafia is the Gen'yaku Syndicate, who forms a solid plant in the Asteroid Belt.

• November 7 - The Four-Leaves Peace Alliance Treaty is signed between the four governments. The move towards the All of the signing members of the treaty begin to plan out specialized forces assuming control of Gundams to enact the treaty.

AC 259

• March 16 - Several raids on the 7 Jewels of Mars by Lightning Wave Mobile Dolls cause the MC to step up defense. Riots break out in the cities and part of Mars descends into civil war. The ICS sends soldiers to help quell the riots. The LGPC sends Mars several surface-based beam cannons to help guard the Martian sphere.

• May 23 - Martian rebels take control of the observational crafts patrolling Venus. After assuming control of the ships and garrison, they form the [[Venus Council], which operates outside of the Alliance. Immediately they allign themselves with the EFF.

• August 5 - A new alloy of Gundanium with ceramic composite designated Gamma is developed by the Martian military. The alloy is considered highly pure compared to the Beta and Delta blends used by other Governments.

• September 12 - After detecting an unknown movement in the Sargasso-Area of space, the Alliance sends a battallion of mobile weapons to attack. The force encounters a group of wayward Lightning Mobile Dolls. This is the first cucessful attack by the Alliance on the Lightning Wave.

• December 28 - In orbit around the Asteroid Eros, the Lightning Wave Command Ship Bolt is discovered. The Alliance prepare an attack in response to the intelligence.

AC 260

• January 1 - While the Lightning Wave Mobile Dolls work on building new units amongst themselves with plundered resources, the Alliance attacks the battleship. In a sweeping victory the Battle Ship and Mobile Dolls are destroyed, however soon after the destruction of the Bolt and a majority of the Dolls, the Alliance breaks down as the Martian Confederation attacks the army of the Venus Council. The ICS condemn the actions by Mars.

• January 15 - The Martian Confederation's elite Wraith Mobile Suit Division is deployed to Pluto with the super-carrier [[Apocalypse]]. The move of troops to the outpost is designated as the United Pluto Directorate. The force is led by Ace Tsum Katago and his Four Horsemen.

• January 29 - A new force Lightning Wave begin attacking remote settlements and stealing resources. The Alliance tries to investigate the origin of this new threat

• April 20 - An assault begins on the Venus Garrison by a force of Lightning Wave Mobile Dolls. It is revealed that the planet's forces intercepted a material convoy between two small forces of Lightning Dolls. A blue Gundam piloted by a man calling himself Imperious appears as the head of the two forces. After several small battles, troops from the La Grange Pointe Council arrive to reinforce the Venus lines. The efforts are futile and most of the Venus forces are destroyed. The leader, David Baarton, orders an attack on the LGPC forces, who in turn destroy the remaining Venus Council military. Venus is declared part of the La Grange Point Council.

• May 22 - Another material convoy between two Lightning Wave Mobile Doll forces is detected between the Asteroid Belt and a Saturn colony. The the ICS and Mars Confederation attack remnants of the Lightning Wave. A nearly identical blue Gundam as what was encountered at Venus appears, except this pilot called himself Regal. ICS scanners reveal that the blue Gundam is made of a super strong Gundanium alloy, which is labeledG-Metal.

• May 30 - In reaction to the threat of the blue Gundams, Mars outfits its own forces and the UPD units with the Gamma Gundanium composite. The expensive armor is applied with the hope of countering the power shown by the unknowns at Saturn and Venus.

• June 17 - The EFF develops a new form of Neo-Titanium designated Beta Neo-Titanium. The material was created to match the Martian Confederation's Gamma Gundanium alloy.

• July 1 - Martian Mobile Suit pilots begin to vanish in a series of unexplained kidnappings. The incident threatens the alliance, which splits over the issue. Mars blames Earth for the incident, while the ICS and LGPC remain neutral in the matter.

• July 14 - Mars launches a fleet directly at the Earth. The heavy assault is targets the EFF, breaking the Four-Leaves Peace Accord. During the battle, the two blue Gundams appear with an armada of Lightning Wave Mobile Dolls. Mars is forced to retreat out of Earth orbit. The two Gundams announce and declare themselves aligned with the EFF. A name is given to the faceless creators of the Lightning Wave, the Gemini Foundation. Hyas Polyduces, the leader of the foundation, announce that Gemini is now in posession of the Earth's Moon.

The Gemini War

AC 260

• August 20 - LGPC General Keoi Phillips speaks out on the Gemini occupation on the Moon, citing treaties that both contradict its alliance with Gemini and call question the legitimacy of its claim on the Moon.

• September 13 - La Grange point 2 is attack by Gemini, showcasing a new force of Zodiac super-soldiers. Other colony points are simultaneously attacked, and over twenty colonies are destroyed. General Keoi Phillips is killed in the battle by Imperious and Regal, and the LaGrange Pointe Council dissolves. The remaining colonies become a battle-ground between Martian-UPD forces and Gemini troops.

• October 7 - Venus is annexed by the UPD, and command is given to Shiro Kusinagi. The force calls itself Venus Alliance, signs the Four-Leaves Peace Accord, and takes in LGPC soldiers.

• September 12 - General Paul Greego is stricken with a virus shortly after complete alliance with the EFF and Gemini is formed. Vice Colonel Xavier Fenix assumes control.

• October 3 - Gemini mounts a failed assault on Mars. This is Gemini's first defeat. However, it showcases the arrival of a massive newtype fortress, the Neo Genesis.

• The ICS is attacked by Gemini forces. Soldier Leo orders all of the moons to be bombarded by nuclear missiles. The refugees of the moons retreat to the Seven Jewels of Mars.

• The Phoenix Vanguard, led by Phrixus Khushrenada, breaks away from Gemini.

AC 261

• Venus leads a massive attack on Earth. The assault fails, and the Pluto and Venusian colonies are attacked with a nuclear strike as well.

• Xavier Fenix is captured by Venusian forces.

• Gemini attacks the remaining Venus fleet. A new Gemini mobile armor captures Xavier and imprisons him for betrayal. Colonel Odin is put in lead of the EFF.

• Gemini forces are attacked by the six governments. 50% of the Gemini forces are lost. The moon base is assaulted and destroyed.

• Marcus Jackson reveals the Freedom Coalition, a collection of civilians yearning for peace.

• Twilight of the Gods. The six governments ally with the Phoenix Vanguard. The Zodiacs are freed, and the Gemini Gundam pilots Imperious and Regal, as well as the Gemini leader Hyas Polyduces, are killed. Mars General Alexander Whitewolf sacrifices himself to kill Regal and Imperious.

Post-Gemini Period (USF Era)

AC 261

• The United Solar Fleet is formed out of the ashes. The new government is led by Marcus Jackson and centered in Berlin.

• Marcus Jackson calls the world to total peace. The USF military is set up to protect the civilians.

AC 262

• March 3 - The Gen'Yaku Syndicate becomes a mobile suit power.

• April 13 - An unknown group begins raiding USF bases.

• August 6 - Jupiter begins to openly oppose the USF and PV.

• August 28 - The war escalates. Military analysts predict that with the massive arming and intensity of fighting, the end of the war is near. The USF poses sanctions on lunar trade.

• August 30 - A massive battle occurs in Chicago. The result is Chicago being struck by a nuclear weapon by USF leader Marcus Jackson. The colonies, Earth, Mars, and the Jupiter moons seek to rebuild.
