HOUSERULES:
Mixed game. Find an excuse for your character to be trusted by the Silver Pact. Silver Faction exists, obviously. Presume you've been around a little while.
Auto Ess4. Everyone uses Solar Charm costs (8/10), Knacks are 8, SMA is 8/10 for Sids, Eclipse out-of-splat costs for everyone else. Merits, Flaws, and Backgrounds over 3 I want to look at but are probably allowed.
1) You guys, for whatever reason, are being trusted a hell of a lot by some Lunar or another. I would like you to work out how in your backstory. If you make me happy, you get three free dots to spread among Backing (Silver Pact), Backing (Silver Faction), or Connections (Silver Pact) as appropriate/desired. (You can buy more, of course.)
1b) If you guys *all* get together and find some Lunar NPC you all want to be connected to, and make them for me, everyone gets them as an Ally for free, as well as some other rather significant appropriate shiny.
2) Stuff lots of people do anyway: take Savant rather than Past Lives, and Solar Bond/Lunar Bond/whatever is flexible as to what it actually does. it can be a lot less annoying, or yes, Lynne, if you want, you can actually fuck your character over *more* with it.
3) This is one major reason I want to run this game: you are all test-driving a shiny new kind of tattoo upgrade. I haven't quite worked out the mechanics yet, but the gist of it is that you all have tattooes (this may or may not include the raksha), of the magical material of your choice (if you want something out-of-splat or, idk, Soulsteel, this will probably require backstory, but would be interesting). These do what normal Lunar tattooes do, plus whatever else I end up adding (there will be Beta Technology-type downsides), and you all get one free dot of Tattoo Artifact. Basically if you want you can treat this like a very strange version of a mecha game.
