[edit] Introduction
Thrall was born to a large extended family in Gateway. Though he dearly loved his family, and vice versa, he was a rude, sullen boy, and not well-liked by his peers- all the less so for his constant attempts to root out their weaknesses and dreams and stick sharp objects in them. While thankfully, he never became particularly good at that, he certainly learned to fight and to hide, and that there was something somewhere out in the world he felt he needed.
As he got older, he became a sailor and a fisherman (as his family wanted), and decided against marrying (as they expected). Finding no purpose to this or in any establishment around him, he created his own hidden little mysticism, which he never entirely abandoned. He became increasingly bitter, finding little to hold onto, until one day a very strange man came into his life.
The man looked vaguely like a Dynast, and came speaking in stilted tones of purpose and power, blood and secrets. Thrall was immediately suspicious, having found someone who might actually be less likable than himself, and tried to run. He caught a ride out to sea, trying to lose the guy; thankfully, it didn't work- but that's its own story.
He Exalted on that trip, and his Sifu found him to be far more accomodating afterwards. Thrall threw himself into the job, happy with a clarified sense of purpose and shiny new powers to go with it.

[edit] Descriptions and Elaborations
Forward, we go forward
To see what lies behind
The neverending, countless stars
Never seemed so bright
Age: 27.
Basic Description: Thrall is a tall (6'2"~), lanky guy, with brown hair down to his shoulderblades that he keeps in a ponytail. He has a number of tattooes: some abstract red stuff around his collarbone, a vaguely-draconic-looking thing down much of his back, and a relatively new little violet symbol of Saturn somewhere easily hid. He wears casual, loose clothing; usually just jeans and shoes.
Personality: Usually loud, morbid, kinda angry. Will flirt with anything male, of age, and remotely attractive.
NPCs:
-Ulakomoros Kalil, Sifu. Endings, Mid-Shogunate-era, from the Blessed Isle, Bronze. Motivation: Cleanse Heaven of corruption.
Relatively compassionate for an assassin-type Endings, possibly some plot including what exactly happened to the last holder of Thrall's Exaltation; certainly they knew each other well, though Kalil doesn't talk about him much. Tries to be a good guy; is about as charismatic as peeling paint; has a lot of piercings and an asymmetrical haircut. Sifu for: VBoS, Holy Warrior Style, Terrestrial Circle Sorcery; Celestial Circle Sorcery, Citrine Poxes of Contagion.
-Omen of Peace, boyfriendishperson. Fae-Blooded Serenity, relative newbie, Independent/Unaligned. Motivation: Protect Creation's stories and the people who make them possible.
The previous holder of Peace's Exaltation got ganked in the Wyld, far enough in for his shard to get lost. It floated around for a few decades of Creation-time before latching onto the first thing it saw birthed at least somewhat in Fate; about seven years later the little child, not wanting to hurt people as his father wanted, ran away. Quickly thereafter, he was taken in and raised by an elder Serenity, and several years later, Exalted. He's about 6'5" with curly red hair, has pointy ears and semi-translucent sparkly ram-horns, and is largely a compassionate, naive, chirpy fellow with a hatred of Raksha and as much of a talent for war as he has for smoothing things out and making people happy. He admires Thrall's passion (and thinks he's rather cute), but wishes he wasn't so much of a dick. Their relationship can be stormy and shallow.
-Unrepentant Jackal, Throwback. Also a creepy jackass, with his "casualty count" a bit on the heavy side, but otherwise a model member of the Bureau until he was discovered to be conspiring with the Yozis and shortly thereafter executed- at least, that's the official version. Which might be entirely correct.
Backgrounds:
Savant *****. Partly from being able to access sections of his last incarnation's/Throwback's memories. Partly from training. Perhaps partly for other reasons.
Celestial Manse *****. Campanile of Celestial Completion, Solar-Aspected, Stone of Final Rest.
The product of a now-very-long-dead friendship, this Manse has been deeded to the line of Thrall's Exaltation since at least the middle of the First Age- definitely the only reason he's got the thing now. The original builder- probably an Eclipse, given, but the details are fuzzy and no one's looked it up in centuries- created it as a giant tower of all five magical materials, primarily orichalcum, intertwined in elaborate patterns; while large portions of this framework are still there, over time, sections have been used, broken off, or "requisitioned for emergency use", being replaced with a hodgepodge of other materials. While no one has yet allowed it to become unstable for obvious reasons, it's now a lot more fragile. Whether this is... symbolic of something... might be a question for Jupiter herself.
The Manse itself has a number of powers. For one thing, it's actually sentient. Its personality is at least partly based on that of the Solar who created it (whatever that was), but it's got some amount of free will, and has had quite a bit of time to develop, so it may not be quite the same. Not that anyone living knows- it hasn't announced its presence in quite some time, and certainly not since the Usurpation. Whether this is due to damage, personal preference, a reaction to the personalities of its later Hearthstone-bearers, or some plan of its, is impossible to tell. Regardless, it seems to be a secretive sort.
In addition, it shares a Sympathetic Dream Link with the Hearthstone-bearer, has the ability to speak via Mela's Sweet Whisper, contains a Guardian of unknown origin which usually manifests through creative use of the Glorious Halo of Hesiesh, and a number of Magical Conveniences. The hearthstone itself is a Stone of Final Rest, which turns mindless undead to dust, damages ghosts, and annoys greater undead beings; sadly, they can also sense its presence. In Shadowlands, the effect is reduced, and in the Underworld, it no longer functions.
Flaws:
Throwback: The Jackal is trying to slowly mold Thrall to either allow him to take over, or to be him. How, why, and what this means is entirely unknown...
Disturbing: There's plenty about Thrall's personality and actions that might be disturbing to some people. On top of that, he seems to have some kind of near-supernatural aura of death about him. This tends to freak out many people, particularly mortals, and the ones it doesn't can almost be worse.
Faction:
Thrall doesn't particularly care about the Solars. He thinks they're a bunch of overpowered crazies, but has no- well- no less compassion for them than he does for anyone else, which may not be saying much, but it's something. He suspects the breaking-open of the Jade Prison is somehow their goddamn fault. Lunars, on the other hand, he considers primarily annoying motherfuckers, meddlers in the task of guiding Creation who have only survived in the business because they're hard to kill. He really doesn't like the Realm, mostly for its imperialist tendencies, and considers the idea of the Deliberative to be one of the few worse options.

Manse: Solar *****, Stone of Final Rest ****. OC: kills mindless undead, ghosts gain +1A/5ticks within 5y, annoys anything bigger; ghosts can sense its presence within 100y, Abyssals/Deathlords note it within (Essence) miles. Deathlords can sense it entering any Shadowland they control. In Shadowlands, its effect is reduced, and in the Underworld, it no longer functions.
