A pickup game about Deathlords, dead people, invasions of creepy things, absurdity, forbidden knowledge, and epileptic trees.

Houserules, since apparently we have enough people I'll need to repeat this:
Auto Ess3, the rest milestone.
Sorcerors get free Countermagic and either Summoning or Banishing, their pick. Necromancers get... two free spells, poke me, I don't feel like opening the book.
Craft will be houseruled the moment someone tosses me a system I like.
Everyone uses Solar XP costs for Caste/Out-of-Caste Charms. Lunars get Survival, Integrity or Resistance Favored, +1. Savant and Bond are available to all, as is Eternal Vow. I am very flexible with other backgrounds.
We're using Scroll of Heroes Merits and Flaws unless there's something that doesn't exist in there that you want.
Everyone has Eternal Vow with the raksha GLORIOUS SOLAR EXALT :3. Everyone.

Betrayal Edged In Blood - Mark - Someone tell me why the fuck the almost-renegade deathknight's the sane one?

Riel Valerian - Raiden - Solar Dawn Fighting Game Hero. Don't know his past, but he leads a team of gang members, rides a Swift Rider, and has a golden hand. Also, Hotblood incarnate.

Merry Is The Heart

Second Heart in Line (Serenity magical boy) Has a fangirl posse. Merry and him would have been married, but Second Exalted when they were 16 and well, Arcane Fate. It's been a few decades, and he is happy she is back... But she doesn't remember him, and even more annoyingly, their philosophies are now completely different. He believes that TRUE LOVE must be created NATURALLY by the LOOM'S BEAUTIFUL VIBRATIONS. Merry sometimes wants to smack him and considers him a little kid.
