Characteristics: Leaf is quite good looking young man, a fact that he’s quite aware of. He stands just short of 6 feet tall, and has an average build – he’s quite the runner, but doesn’t offer much in the ways of physical strength, which suits him just fine. His most prominent feature is his long light orange hair, which comes down just past his shoulders, and contrasts with his bright blue eyes. His clothing is quite elaborate; he wears a dull-red cloth tunic, with a dull lavender mantle over it. He wears light lavender pants, and a multicolored tunic cover, as well as various strings of beads around his waist. He also wears a single amber earing on his left ear.

Personality: Leaf fancies himself a talented, carefree bard, with no attachments to the world around him. He fancies himself as stylish and witty, poetic and cunning, and as a person that plays outside the rules. In other words, he fancies himself the ‘Loveable Rascal Bard’ stock character that has long ago been instilled into the many genres of stories.

And while he has accomplished a few of these, he certainly falls short of his expectations. He’s not quite as talented, confident, or poetic as he’d like to be – and he knows this. However, he is quite cunning, witty, and unnaturally lucky – a few things which he doesn’t know.

Background: Leaf was born in Talpaea Castle. He had a normal, relatively happy childhood. He spent most of his time pretending to be adventurers with his friends. When he wasn’t doing so, he was reading about adventurers in the castle’s vast library. The fantasy of traveling the world without a care was permanently stuck in his psyche. When his friends began to take up apprenticeships in various shops, Leaf didn’t know what to do. When he refused to take a job, his parents kicked him out, hoping that he would come to his senses and come back. Leaf however, ran away and made his way south, to the Shimmering Vale. There, he met an old retired bard. When Leaf told him he had run away and wanted to travel the world, the Bard took him in. For nearly a year, he spent his afternoons with the bard in the tavern, and with other townsfolk. The bard taught him how to play various instruments, as well as shared various shreds of knowledge with the child. However, suddenly the old bard disappeared leaving only a note for Lead, saying ‘get on with it!’, and a jongleur rune. After this, Leaf set out once more, ready to travel the long road ahead.

Weapons: Leaf doesn't carry an actual weapon. He instead carries a few musical instruments, and a few tools for performances, such as juggling balls.
