Invincible against certain attacks

From the game The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for the Game Boy Advance

Rolling on the ground makes one invincible against certain projectiles (for example, an Octorok's attack). When the attack is just about to hit Link, roll. He will roll over, and avoid, any damage that would normally be taken.
