Messed up battle

From the game Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the Game Boy Advance
(This happened to someone.) In the beginning of the game, he had an archer attack someone behind a judge. He missed the target but hit the judge. The game began to slow down, and he found out at the end of the battle that he had earned a bunch of gold (basically, a bunch of nines).
