From the game Secret of Mana for the Super Nintendo
When there is an Eye Spy (an enemy that looks like a gray eye stalk) and you are approaching it, if you get it just out of camera range and attack it with arrows, you can keep hurting it until you kill it without it even recognizing that you are there; it won't generate any enemies to attack you, either.
