Its funny, earlier posts say that Direct Buy does not have tektlarmeeers that call you.  I was solicited by them to come into their  showroom  at a time when I was looking for living room furniture.  I ended up not going because they called me numerous times after the initial call, pestering me about keeping my appointment.  That was enough for me to know something wasn't right with this picture.  ANYTIME someone uses high pressure tactics to try to sell you something, it is someone trying to part you and your money before you have had enough time to figure out its not what they say it is.  I find it hard to believe anyone in their right mind would let themselves be talked into buying a membership for thousands of dollars because they won't be eligible for  this deal again for 4 years !  I would walk out right then and never come back.  These people are like many car salesmen.  They have many tactics and methods of convincing you they are helping you get a great deal, when in fact, they are trying to get the most money out of the sale as they can.  Whether they get it in the form of club fees or tacked on handling fees, they are making money at your expense.  You are better off shopping without  help  from places like this.

Thank you for your reflection. Simply put, you have bocmee a fantastic example for your students. Striving to be the best you can, while taking risks and reflecting, is EXACTLY what I wish education to bocmee.Too often we are asked to only reflect when "scores" are returned to the school/teacher, and we are asked how we can bocmee better at preparing our future students for a test. Shouldn't we be reflecting more often about something more important? Say, how can we better prepare our students to handle difficult situations TOMORROW?Thanks again for confirming my desi to take calculated risks, reflect and improve as I work with my current students.
