Overview
A jolly nice bloke with a penchant for South-Park style avatars, computers and other technical-like things. Spends most of his spare time either lurking on fora or "owning nubs" at HL2DM. Rookie also has a near-obsession with the popular Half-Life 2 modification, Garry's Mod, which he will happily spend hours on building absurd or comical contraptions out of abstract components.
GamingForums
Rookie_42 joined GamingForums in May 2005 under the alias radiant_rookie. He was made moderator of The Melee in November 2005, taking on Tech Discussion in January 2006 and a number of other game forums later in the year.
Since the removal of the Melee, Rookie has been left with three forums to moderate - Tech Discussion, Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2 and the Star Trek Elite Force series.
IRL
Outside of forum life, Rookie is studying for an A level in English Literature and a BTEC National Diploma in Computing at college.
