Kastrana

Origins

The Kastrana are the "elves" of Mely. They were the first being created by Kumbar. They are immortal to death by age, mysterious, mystical, and posess power over men and the other races. Menosol, the evil one, tricked some of them into going with him to be his servants on his island of punishment. The rest stayed on the island of Eanlan or left and went to the island of New Lasnon. Eanlan was then flooded by Menosol, and most of them on the island were killed, however some lived and stayed on a small ring of atols that were still unsubmerged, or left and went to the mainland. The Kastrana that went to N.L. encountered and conquered a small race of men known as Druis, but other than that lived peacefully to the end. The Kastrana also created the Dwarves and Niaits( which are realy the same race only divided into two nations) to be their servants. Their first king was Alkeliath, who was banished by Kumbar to live on Menosol's island. He became Menosols right-hand man, and was given the name Unetor - One Handed. The second king, Escom Oure, was appointed by Kumbar, and was a great king.
