Though physically complex, the areas of the mind can be clearly seen and even manipulated by a Psion. Though contained in just the brain and spinal column, the Psion sees them as the individual systems that comprise it, and can see direct the pathways that intersect them. Directly manipulating the complex collections of memories and processes could be disastrous to a human being, so the Psion normally perfects his craft using the long stretches of nerves that connect the systems, as most of his influence happens here.

Psions can change the status of pain receptors in their allies, granting them extra health and the use of disabled limbs. They can affect NPC's moods, personalities, motivations and behavior.
