Since the band's formation (and in the Frames), Glen Hansard has torn through "The Horse", a horrifically damaged yet miraculously intact 1990 Takamine NP15 acoustic-electric. See here and here for more. He also uses a 1962 Gibson ES-120T.
Markéta Irglová plays a Yamaha baby grand piano.
