The guilds are a part of the Gamerdisclaimer community. Mainly used for role-playing purposes, many guilds have been formed. Currently, most of the guilds are inactive, and guilds usually do not play a big part in community of Gamerdisclaimer. Others than for a few role-playing purposes, there are usually no distinction between members of different guilds. Infact, there are some users that have joined many guilds, and some that have joined none. A notable exception of the guilds would be the Guild of Wordsmith, who plays a role other than roleplaying in creating the Gamerdisclaimer Newsletters.

History of the Guilds

Before the creation Roleplaying and Prose Club

The first guild, is not the Clamplain family, it was actually FAST VX. Consisting of, Sonicx, Redsox, Vayfour and 3 unknown members. The second guild created on Gamerdisclaimer was the Clampain Family, formed by the user GrrnusPrrnus. Because the Rolplaying and Prose Club had not been created yet, the guild began in the spam Junkyard. After a while, GrrnusPrrnus left the Clampain Family and the forum, the guild fell into inactivity.(verification needed) In place of the Clampain Family, Vayfour2 and Turdorb started the clan of Azuresong Shamans. Another guild that was formed near this time was the Ackriloth Warriors. It was formed by MurlocSlayer .

After the creation of the Roleplaying and Prose Club

Eventually, Un-mediocre created the Roleplaying and Prose Club sub-forum, allowing guilds to be officially formed. With the first few days,73h 1337 h4x0r2, Pure Pwnage Colossi, The Abbadons Mages, and the The Aguresure Rogues were created. None of these are still active. Ace Combatants,Technomage, Dragons of Fear, Faint of Hearts, Gods of War, Otanime, Random Raiders, Shadows of Arden, and The Elementalists were made during the long period between the forum server change. Springing Tigers was created for no particular reason by the Azuresong Shaman's co-leader, Tudorb. Although many guilds are inactive, many people from the clans still are. The Guild of wordsmith was formed to create newsletters.

There is also the Soulmasters, created by Rakasin who is now generally inactive. It became the Fallen Angels later on.
