Intertwined Destinies
A pair of fate rings made from two loops of sharpened starmetal; a ribbon trails from the grips down the arm of the wearer, to a sash worn about the waist. These coiled blades can be wielded as wind-fire wheels or thrown as chakrams; if thrown, they automatically return to hand unless blocked, and can be called to hand for 1m if they are prevented from returning otherwise.
The most potent power of the Intertwined Destinies is the synergy between the two; successfully striking with one allows the wielder to spend 3m and entangle the target's fate with the other ring, ensuring a decisive blow; the wielder's Essence in dice is added to the next attack with the other ring.

Azure Aegis
A slender and elegant reaper daiklave crafted primarily of blue jade, with bronze-colored orichalcum fittings and a sutra in white jade inset into the blade, Azure Aegis is certanly a marvelous blade. It's hilt is wrapped by a white silk cord, matching the one on the jade-alloy scabbard to attach it to one's belt. The bronze-colored orichalcum fittings are shaped in a draconic motif.
The Azure Aegis grants its wielder a potent defensive ability. As a misc. action and the cost of 3m, he can activate a howling shield of wind that deflects ranged weapons, reducing all ranged attacks by a number of successes equal to his Essence. For an additional 2m, he can extend this field to shield one other person. Unfortunatly, it applies equally to incoming and outgoing ranged attacks.
