		+	At first glance one would assume that Arcis was a Immaculate Fire Aspect of high breeding, mainly thanks to the fiery red tint to his skin and the puffs of smoke that occasionally rise from his mouth when he breaths.  However, Arcis is still quite mortal, despite the fire in his veins.  His hair is a dark black with the faintest hint of grey by the temples and his eyes are a dark smoldering charcoal gray.  His clothing is plain, and he walks with purpose; the only show of wealth that he has is the red jade daiklaive that hangs at his side.

		+	Arcis led a relatively normal life in a small village in the East.  In his youth, he was a member of the local militia, known for his fluid attacks and skill with a short sword.  As he aged, he settled down and started a family.  However, he realized that his flame was fading away, and would eventually go out.  In an attempt to reclaim his lost vitality, he began studying under a variety of thamaturges, occultists and shamans.  Eventually, he heard tales of a Fair Folk who took mortals under his wing and trained them in the martial arts.  On his forty-fifth birthday, he marched out towards the Raksha's freehold.  The journey was long and hard, but he arrived, and Agnida found him worthy of his teachings.

		+	Arcis spent three years studying with the Cataphract, his body, mind and soul changing and warping through the touch of the Wyld.  When Agnida thought he was ready, he sent Arcis back out into Creation to see how his prodigy would handle himself.  So far, he's done quite well; he returns to Agnida's dojo every few months (mainly thanks to the mutations that he gained through his time in the Wyld) to continue his training, and his grasp of the Fire Dragon Style slowly but surely grows.

Level 2 Red Jade Short Daiklaive

This daiklaive, made by a Southern Cataphract by the name of Agnida, is an excellent specimen of craftsmanship as only the Fair Folk can do it. The red jade blade flickers and moves like a flame, with Old Realm glyphs along the blade that draw the eye of the viewer. While Agnida is a crafter, he is also a powerful martial artist, who has studied a number of mortal and Exalted styles over the centuries. For one of his prized students, he implanted his knowledge of the Fire Dragon Style into the blade as he constructed it. The 'spirit' of the blade is considered a valid tutor for the Charms of the Fire Dragon Style, aiding the user in the katas of the style until he can do them on his own.
