If you are not a premium member, or if you are a premium member and want to get your maps incorporated into the actual map lists, the best place to do this is the Maps Forum on the Battalion Message Boards.  The Maps Forum lets you upload a picture of your map as well as a description for others to critique and praise.  In order to generate this picture, simple go to the Export option in the File Menu in the map editor.  This will save your map as a JPEG file.  You can then post this image on the web through a service such as Image Shack (http://www.imageshack.us/).  Once you have the link to this map, create a new forum topic and use the IMG button to paste in your map link.

[edit] Introduction

So you’ve studiously studied this guide and have now created what you think is a superb map. How do test your map out and eventually get it into the game?

[edit] For Premium Members

The easiest way to play you map is to become a Premium Member. As a Premium Member, you are allowed to upload up to 10 of your maps at one time to the server. Simply log in to the main site (urbansquall.com) and navigate to the Tactical Command link on the left. The Upload Maps link should be right in front of you.

[edit] If You're Not A Premium Member

Once your map is posted to the forums, there are a few ways to get it posted in the game. If your map is downright spectacular, you may be asked directly to send the .bmap file to the administrator for direct incorporation into the game. Alternatively, the best maps every two weeks are placed in the Map of the Fortnight contest, where the best two maps are voted directly by the forum members for incorporation into the game. The Map of the Fortnight contest was stopped a few months ago due to low forum activity.

If you still can't get the map uploaded send it to gbagcn@gmail.com and if there are no obvious balance problems it will get uploaded into the unoffical map list.
