Sysop Nominations

We should try to get more users on the wiki before we have sysop nominations. What did you do before to get so many users? - Bub

Couple of question marks for you

1. How do you create a bot?
2. How do you change your name from "amdin" to what you want?
3. How do you add another "links" tool bar on the side?

1. I don't know how to make a bot. just to give one a bot status.
2. Change Admins password, make a new account, log in as Admin again, and make your new username a sysop, buenicrat.
3. To add "Links" there, you go to MediaWiki:Sidebar, click edit, type ** links under everything, and then under that put * before your links.

You go to Special Pages, at the bottom under restricted pages, it will say "user rights management", click that, type in the user's name and select what you want him to be. And hit save. The thing 13:10, 12 July 2006 (EDT)
